The guitar is really cool and eerie in a trippy sorta way. I really like the directions that the guitar is exploring. The pseudo-bass solo in the middle was cool, but the snare is distracting me a bit. I've got nothing against repetitive drums, but maybe a bit more time could've been spent on finding a nicer pattern to track to if you're going to go for 7 and a half minutes. Vocals fit well with the overall ambience.

Enjoyed it, man!

Cool

Actually, "properly mixed" the song should probably be faded out around 4:45 or 5:00. (I left the rest of the drum/bass on there just for the hell of it.)

I would have had Johnny put real drums on it, but he's on vacation so I just looped a simple pattern. (The original song by the Beatles pretty much does the same thing.)

Kinda long ..but very trippy.I love the feel you got out of your guitar ,perfect 60's distortion with a glued together with harmonics sound.
Your vocals are clear, and up front.I do prefer real drums for sure but as you said the original drums were almost a loop by a live drummer.
Over all a real good mix and fun to trip back to the sixties with.
